Michelle Wellen, MS, DPT

A graduate of Simmons College, Michelle holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and a Masters degree in Orthopedics from the Massachusetts General Institute of Health Professions. Michelle enjoys working with her patients and educating them on how to best care for their problems. Michelle has great experience in sports medicine and has helped athletes with their training techniques for over 20 years. Michelle is also highly experienced in knee and shoulder problems and enjoys utilizing her skills in this area. She also works with patients who require orthotics for their feet and has advanced training in spinal manipulation. In addition, Michelle has a special interest in working with patients from Reliant Medical Group’s Bariatric Medicine program. Michelle truly enjoys her work and has been a physical therapist for more than three decades.
Beth Bylund, PT

Beth received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at the University of New England. For more than two decades she has been working with patients to return them to their highest levels of recuperation. "I enjoy working with my patients, seeing them improve their function and achieving their goals." Beth focuses much of her practice on working with orthopedic patients, and has extra training and experience treating pregnant and post partum patients.
Wendy Fradsham, PTA

Wendy is a graduate of Becker College in Worcester and has been working as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Reliant Medical Group since 1989. Wendy really enjoys working with her patients each week and helping them reach their goals. "I really love to build relationships with my patients and see how they improve. I find it very rewarding to help them progress whether it's increasing their range of motion, decreasing pain or increasing their strength." Wendy is also a strong believer in educating patients on their diagnosis as well as techniques to prevent re-injury in the future. Wendy has a special interest in women's health issues and has extensive experience in orthopedics, geriatrics, and treating general neck and back pain.
Mike Haglund, PTA

Graduating from Becker College in 1995, Michael has spent his career at Reliant Medical Group helping athletes from a broad range of sports recover from their injuries. Whether tennis, ballet, baseball, football or basketball athletes, Michael's focus is on helping patients regain their highest levels of performance. Having worked with athletes that have won college and high school championships in tennis, football, baseball and basketball; his experience extends to working with professional athletes as well, including players from the Worcester Tornadoes. "I specialize in sports medicine, working with pitchers and with people recovering from orthopedic surgeries, like rotator cuff surgery, SLAP lesions, ACL/knee surgeries, joint replacements, and other challenges." Michael is also versed in core stability training, strength training and plyometric exercise.

A graduate of the University of Bombay, Rohini has always wanted to work in the field of healthcare and feels that Physical Therapy offers an ideal way to balance life personally and professionally. Rohini has learned that each patient is a challenge and offers a unique learning experience. She enjoys interacting with patients and making a difference in their lives, and feels responsible for giving them the best care. In addition to her Physical Therapy skills, Rohini is a certified wound therapist and has extensive experience in dealing with outpatient wound care.
Pete Valera, PTA, CPT

A graduate of Newbury College in Brookline, Massachusetts, Peter Valera has been at Reliant Medical Group for many years. Peter's love of sports is what first interested him in physical therapy. "I had always had a big interest in football and other sports and wanted a career that would allow me to work with athletes on a daily basis." Peter is an enthusiastic therapist who believes in developing sound, well constructed rehabilitation plans to help his patients. He is also a strong believer in educating and encouraging his patients so they receive optimum benefit from their therapy. Peter is also a certified personal trainer and enjoys creating plans for athletes and non-athletes alike. He is currently overseeing team strength training for St. Bernard's lacrosse team in Fitchburg and also provides strength and conditioning expertise for a number of soccer, pitching and running clinics. "Whether it's working with athletes or those just beginning an exercise program, I enjoy helping people reach their fullest potential."
